This video is the beginning of the series “If there is a God in the Mountain.” Through the Sinological texts(“Shang Shu: Canon of Shun,” “Liji: Ji Fa”) and Gaia theory, describing how people face nature and reproduce the objects of faith, such as religious statues, wind, boulders, trees, rivers... etc. The oral histories found locally are used to argue with Western and sinology theories and respond to the interaction between nature and faith.
